Overview

ExPrep Grading Platform is an automated grading tool for educators using Microsoft Excel in the classroom. They offer a customizable, automated solution for grading and tracking spreadsheet assignments that can be integrated into a client’s current learning management system.
ExPrep was Founded in 2015 by CEO Brandon Eng, who from the confines of his dorm room, set out to transform Microsoft Excel eduction. What began as a simple Excel training application quickly became a leading and revoluationry Microsoft Excel Grading Automation Platform.

Needs

CEO Brandon Eng first contacted Turner Business Appraisers in November 2021 because a partner desired to be bought out. Since ExPrep is a private company Brandon nor his partner had any idea what the business was worth. After a phone conversation with Turner Business Appraisers Brandon decided to order a valuation of the business.

Solutions

Turner Business Appraisers completed the business valuation for ExPrep. Over the next few months deliberations occurred between Brandon and the other shareholder. Turner Business valuators made themselves available to answer questions from both parties so that the parties could arrive at a meeting of the minds. The shareholders eventually came to terms and Brandon was able to buy the 50% that was owned by the other shareholder.
