Certified Plant Equipment Appraisals in NC, SC and GA

We offer certified plant equipment appraisals, ensuring that you will receive appraisal report that is accurate, USPAP compliant and meets the SBA’s SOP requirements.  Our appraisers have earned the CMEA designation from the NEBB Institute, a recognized and credible organization that abides by the highest standards of excellence in the industry. In order to earn the CMEA designation candidates must complete a comprehensive and challenging training course, pass a written exam and prepare a sample appraisal report that is graded by two certified appraisers and examined by a peer review committee. With Turner Business Appraisers, you can rest easy knowing that your appraisal report is being prepared by a certified professional who is proficient in all aspects of appraising your plant equipment.

Our firm offers two options for your plant equipment appraisal: A full Summary appraisal report or a Desktop appraisal report.  A full Summary Appraisal report is compiled from data gathered by the appraiser such as manufacturer names, model numbers and photographs which are physically inspected by the appraiser on site.  This type of plant equipment appraisal will withstand scrutiny of banking and SBA Loan requirements, tax challenges, and litigation.

A Desktop plant equipment appraisal meets the requirements for most purposes excluding litigation, tax matters and banking/SBA requirements.  This option is cost effective and is very similar to the full Summary appraisal report except that the data is supplied by the client and there will be a statement in the appraisal report that acknowledges that the appraiser has not personally inspected the equipment.

Whether your appraisal requires the use of the Market Data Approach, The Cost Less Depreciation Approach, the income Approach, or a Fair Market Value estimate, our expert appraisers are trained to determine the best approach to use when valuing your plant equipment.  Call us at 1-800-873-3040 so we can help you with your Plant Equipment Appraisal.  We Value Your Business!
